A Love Story
A Chinese story by Yu (Mon/Tues class)
Once upon a time in China, there was a girl who liked to go to school. But girls were not allowed to go to school at that time so she dressed up as a boy so she could attend school.
She loved school and while she was there she met a boy she loved very much and intended to marry him. She invited him to come to her home next year and promised that he could marry her sister. In fact there was no sister – she was going to pretend to be her sister.
The girl’s father forced her to marry a rich man when she went home. Just before wedding the boy came happily and asked, “Where is your sister?” Then the girl told the truth. He was shocked and regretted that he came so late. He died a short time after this.
On the girl’s wedding day she insisted that she on the journey to the ceremony she went to visit her love’s grave to say ‘farewell’. Otherwise she would refuse to be married. Her father was not happy but he allowed her to go.
In front of his grave her heart felt like it would break; she cried very hard. Suddenly to her surprise the grave opened. She jumped in it .Then the grave closed again slowly. Meantime a pair of beautiful butterflies flew out of the grave. They went to heaven together.
Story 2
Love Story

A very long time ago there was a bachelor who was desperately looking for a wife. One night as he drove his car home from work, he saw a girl hitch hiking so he stopped the car for her. She got in the car and the man gave her a lift home.
On the way home she was feeling very cold and asked the man if ahe could borrow his jacket. She told him she would give his jacket back the next morning. So he went to see her the next day but she is not in because her mother said she had already passed away.
The man would not believe the mother so the woman took him to her daughter’s gravesite. There was his jacket hanging over the headstone. He was so sad that stopped eating and drinking.
Not long after the bachelor died because he missed his lover very much and he committed suicide.

the first one story is famous story in china, but the other one is not chinese story or not famous.
i think it is anice love story but why did she give so easily.

This is a very good story.
The first story had little imagination about LOVE.

Long time ago in north Vietnam there was a every rich family.They had one daughter who was so beatiful, but her heahlt was not well.Her mun and dad were always sad and worried. They found a good doctor to look after her,but she till did not feel better.One day she sat by the window and she heard some one playing the flute he played nine songs on the river. This made her feel better and she started to do the same thing every day and she got much better and she loved the men who played the flute.One day mun and dad invite the men to come to see them the girl was so happy to see the mand she felt in love with. but guess what! the man looked very ugly, and she didn't want to see him any more. The men was so sad and returned to the river killed himself. The girl couldn't hear the song any more and she got sick later then she died.
I heard this stories from my brother . There was a powerful man who worked in the army in Afghanestan . One day he saw a very butefull girl. The man loved her at first sight so he wanted to marry her, but the girl didn't want him because he was far older than her. In our culture women are not allowed to fall in love.The girl had two brothers and a mother.
The man who wanted to marry the girl tried to talk to her but she told him that her family will kill her if she did that.
so the man sent his mother to the girl's house but her brother didn't agree to this marriage, but the man was so powerful and
married the girl by his power .The girl was not happy she would cry every day and she got sick.
One day his brother invited the couple to his house and he had the intention of killing his brother in law for what he did to his sister. He killed the man and left the house with his sister and the rest of the family but they left fire on in the house. At that time my brother, who was the girl's brother friend, was on his way to their house to hand a video tape to his friend. My brohter knocked on the door know but no one answered and there was smoke coming out of the house so he called the police. When the police opened the door they found a body cut into pieces. The police arrested my brother and all the people who lived on that street.
My brother was arrested for two months but luckily was released later. They never found the killers.
I think it is very important to go to school and study and she is very clever. Farzana
